Hongdae (Korean: 홍대; Hanja: 弘大) is a neighborhood in Seoul, South Korea near Hongik University, after which it is named. It is known for its urban arts and indie music culture, local shops, clubs and entertainment. The area is located in Mapo-gu in the western end of Seoul, stretching from Seogyo-dong to Hapjeong-dong.

In the Ewha Women's University area, there is the famous Ehwa Women's University shopping street, which is perfect for shopping for cosmetics and clothing. Today I visited the Ewha University, as known as Edae, area to show you around.

The claim has not been substantiated. Ewha Womans University Museum opened in April 1935. It has a wide range of artifacts, ranging from paintings, ceramics, crafts, doubles and folk items, and its main collection is the Korean National Treasure No. 107 white porcelain, iron and grape jars.
