I had high expectations for pujol since it's ranked #9 in top 50 restaurants in the world. Overall, it was a fantastic meal, but didn't stand out as much as I hoped it would. mole madre 2658 days - this was indeed the best mole I had all trip and I had so much mole from many different restaurants.

The two restaurants are located blocks away from each other in the Polanco neighborhood of Mexico City. Founded in the year 2000, Pujol offers “a tasting menu of refined and elegant plates built from indigenous ingredients that pay tribute to Mexico’s rich culinary history,” according to the World’s 50 Best website.

We had a group of 8 and were seated in the private dining area, which was much quieter and intimate. I had high expectations for pujol since it's ranked #9 in top 50 restaurants in the world. Overall, it was a fantastic meal, but didn't stand out as much as I hoped it would.
